The National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) launched its fifth steel bridge on October 22 as part of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor (MAHSR). The 60-meter bridge was installed on the Bajva-Chhayapuri chord line of Western Railway in Vadodara, contributing to the development of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project.
Weighing 645 metric tons, the bridge stands 12.5 meters tall and 14.7 meters wide. Fabricated at a workshop in Bhachau, it was transported to the site for installation. This marks another milestone in the plan to complete 28 steel bridges for the high-speed rail corridor.
